After many years of working in the customer service and automotive industries, I chose to return to Okanagan College and pursue my love of bookkeeping. I have recently completed a Business Administration Diploma with a specialization in accounting to augment and update my previous experience as a bookkeeper. I value order and accuracy in my work and enjoy the beauty of a well laid out set of statements. On a personal note, I enjoy living in the Shuswap area because of its many opportunities to be in nature, and the simplicity I find in the peacefulness of the many backroad lakes.

Having worked in offices for over ten years, it seemed fitting to return to school to obtain my Administrative Assistant certificate. During my studies, I discovered my passion for bookkeeping and began focusing my energy on working in that industry. I strive for excellence in all that I do and enjoy organizing and maintaining filing systems, databases, and staying up-to-date on current processes and software. I am very detail-oriented and love bringing order to a chaotic situation. I was born in Ontario and made the Okanagan area my permanent home because of all the wonderful people in the surrounding areas, and the beauty of the valley.
